CHRISTMAS CARD EXCHANGE: SEND A LITTLE JOY
HOW IT WORKS - IT'S AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3!
- Use your favourite Crafter’s Companion supplies to create a little handmade joy! There’s no theme beyond Christmas cheer, so make it sparkly, snowy, traditional, or retro… the choice is yours! Don’t just sign your name, feel free to include a personal greeting inside too!
- Put your finished card inside an unsealed envelope (you can decorate it if you’d like!), then package that up in an outer envelope and send it to us at Crafter’s Companion, FAO Christmas Card Exchange, Horndale Avenue, Aycliffe Business Park, Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham, DL5 6DR.
- Please make sure you’ve checked our top tips before sending your card to us to ensure we can pass it on! Cards need to be received by us no later than 5th December 2025.
- We’ll shuffle the cards and send yours to another crafter when they order through our website in December (before our Christmas cutoff period), and one of their creations may be on the way back to you too. It’s like a handmade Secret Santa, but with glitter and heart!

TOP TIPS FOR SENDING IN CARDS
DO:
- Write a friendly message for the recipient
- Keep your greeting generic, warm, and welcoming to any recipient
- Place your card inside a blank envelope, to keep it safe inside an order when we send it
- Ensure that blank envelope is placed inside another envelope addressed to us
- Share pictures of what you’re creating in our community
- Share pictures of any cards you receive in our community
DON’T:
- Share personal information in your card
- Request any information from the recipient
- Include anything other than a card
- Send a card that may be damaged in transit - 3D cards may not hold up well!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Yes, of course! Just make sure they all arrive by our deadline for your region.
- Cards that we cannot send out will be donated to a local charity, and we will be sure to share that information via our online community and email.
- We will do our best to put a card in every order placed on our website in December (orders placed 1st - 17th December), but it’s entirely dependent on how many cards we receive.
- We are expecting to receive a high volume of mail for this campaign, and will be unable to provide an acknowledgement for everyone who sends one in. If you email community@crafterscompanion.co.uk we will do our best to confirm for you. Please be patient as our community team is small, and due to annual leave you may not get your confirmation immediately.
