We want to spread the joy of handmade to everyone in our community, and help you connect with fellow enthusiasts. Our aim is to encourage more people to send cards and little notes to each other! You can leave the inside of the card blank and just write a note on a piece of paper (so the recipient can re-use the card) or you can write directly on the card - it’s up to you! The goal is that you’re corresponding with a fellow crafter, making new friends, and spreading joy!

Our Craft Pal programme is open to anyone in our global crafting community who is 18 years or older, and can commit to sending one card a month to their Craft Pal.

We are accepting initial applications from Friday 13th Feb - Sunday 1st Mar. We will send out matches for all sign ups during that period by 9th March. You are welcome to sign up after that, and we will match you with a Craft Pal as soon as possible (we will aim to have a match within two weeks, depending on available Craft Pals).

No, we are administering this programme free of charge for our global crafting community.

When you sign up to be matched with a Craft Pal you will be given the choice of where you are able to send cards to. We won’t ask anyone to send cards internationally if you’re unable to do so.

We understand that sometimes life gets busy! To stay in the programme you must agree to send one card each month. If for some reason you cannot participate temporarily we require that you let your Craft Pal know, and send us a note.

We will not share any information beyond your chosen display name and address with your Craft Pal. We discourage sharing personal information such as phone number, email address, financial details, or social media accounts unless you are comfortable doing so.

We will initially match you with one Craft Pal. In the future we may allow participants to have more, depending on demand. You will be able to indicate during the sign up process if you would like more than one Craft Pal.

When you are matched with a Craft Pal you will receive a digital welcome booklet with details on how to report a problem.

We encourage you to use as many Crafter’s Companion products as possible on it, and share pics with us in our community. You are welcome to use other papercraft products as well.

You can still participate! As long as you’re willing to send a card each month, you can connect with a fellow soft craft enthusiast (we’ll match you accordingly).

We will suggest themes for your makes every month, but you can send anything you like. When you sign up to be matched with your Craft Pal we will ask about religious imagery, and we will match participants based on whether or not they are comfortable with that. You can send any size you want, but your card must have appropriate postage (we recommend you create flat cards to save on the cost).
