Led by our team of expert crafters, each class will be packed with tips, techniques, and step-by-step projects. Whether you’ve just started crafting or have been for years, this is your chance to learn directly from the best in the business.

And it’s more than just classes, you’ll be surrounded by crafters just like you sharing inspiration, ideas, and a whole lot of fun. Walk away with new skills, completed projects, and memories of a truly creative experience. And as an added treat, you’ll also enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes Crafter’s TV studio tour, right here at Crafter's HQ.

Join us for two days of crafting, learning and laughter at Craftaganza in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
Friday 15th - Saturday 16th May 2026
The event is for crafters of any skill level aged 18 years or older, and we will be making a variety of projects featuring our products. Each event will have exactly the same classes, teachers, and activities. Space is limited to 200 crafters. All events will be accessible to attendees who need wheelchairs or mobility scooters, but we do ask that you reach out to us ahead of time to let us know. As space is limited, every attendee must have purchased a ticket. Should you need a carer to attend with you, please get in touch as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help make arrangements.

Tickets are €495, and you can pay all at once, or using the payment options we have on our site.

  • Tickets may be purchased from our website directly here. Add it to your basket, and checkout as normal.
    You are responsible for your travel and accommodations. We’ve made a list of hotels in our area that are convenient to the venue here. There is free parking at the venue site. For those that will not have access to a car while visiting, we will be happy to share local taxi services and/or the public transportation schedules.
    • 6+ months from event: Prior to 14th November 2025 tickets will be fully refunded.
    • 3- 6 months prior to event: Cancellations made between 14th November 2025 - 14th February 2026 will be partially refunded (we will refund 50% of the ticket price, and if we are able to re-book your spot will will refund the other 50%)
    • Less than 3 months from event: Any cancellations made from 15th February 2026 will not be refunded
    You will get a confirmation email from us, with a digital ticket you can download and print if you want! You’ll also receive a link to join our exclusive Facebook community (either the US or UK group, depending on your location). Moving forward, we’ll be in touch regularly with updates, more class information, top tips, and more. We expect to send at least one email per month until mid-March, when you will then hear from us once per week leading up to the event in mid-April.     Yes! In the event of a sellout for a particular date, a waiting list will be started on a first come, first served basis. The waiting list will open once a date is no longer available to purchase (it will say SOLD OUT on the website. To get your name on the waiting list, you can email craftaganza@crafterscompanion.co.uk and ask to be added to the list. If a space opens up, we will reach out to you! Note: be sure to include “Craftaganza Waiting List + the date/location of the event you want to attend” in the subject line of your email. The waiting list for each event will only open when the event has reached capacity.

    Craftaganza On Tour FAQs

    Classes will be taught by Leann Chivers, Debby Robinson, Debbie Fisher, Sheila Halliwell, and Ben Moseby. You’ll also see Sara Davies popping into classes throughout the event, plus we’ll have plenty of familiar faces from the Crafter’s Companion team on site as well.
    Class details will be confirmed closer to the event date.
    We recommend you arrive the night before the event starts, so you can wake up ready to craft with us the next day!
    We recommend you plan to depart the day after the event ends, so you don’t feel rushed on the second day. We are aiming to be finished by 8pm on Day 2, so if time is a concern you could depart late that evening.
    We will make every effort to accommodate your dietary needs, and will provide a form to fill out closer to the event.

    How to Get There

    By Car - Insert this address into your navigation system: Glow, Aycliffe Business Park, Long Tens Way, Newton Aycliffe DL5 6AP

    By Train - Heighington Train Station is the closest station to Glow (Craftaganza), just a few minutes away by taxi. Darlington Train Station is the nearest mainline station with more frequent services. From Darlington, you can take a taxi to Newton Aycliffe, which is roughly a 20-minute drive to the Glow location at Aycliffe Business Park.

    By Bus - Local bus services stop at Long Tens Way and Durham Way on Aycliffe Business Park, which are both just a short walk to Glow. Bus routes from Darlington and Durham run regularly throughout the day.
