Kendra Wietstock, Design Team Co-ordinator at Crafter’s Companion USA, has created a fabulous tutorial for making a small, festive gft box using our Single Cupcake Presentation Box! She says: “This cute little box could be used for any small holiday gift or yummy treat.”

Crafter’s Companion supplies:

Directions:

b

Step 1: Line up the template on the cardstock and use Easi Lift Tape to secure the template while tracing the outline.

c

Step 2: Once the template is traced, remove the template to make sure all of the lines were completed, including the score lines (inside broken lines). If any were forgotten, replace the template and complete.

d

Step 3: Trim all solid lines with scissors.

e

Step 4: Using the scoring board on The Ultimate Pro, score the broken lines on the box.

f

Step 5: Add Distress Ink (Antique Linen) to the scored edges.

g

Step 6: Trim red, green and patterned paper pieces to decorate the box.

h

Step 7: Use the Presentation Box template to trace a piece of pattern paper layer using the inside broken lines.

i

Step 8: Attach all of the cardstock and patterned pieces to the outside of the box.

j

Step 9: Attach the alternate pattern and cardstock to the inside of the box.

k

Step 10: Trace the Cupcake Insert from the template (this is included with the Presentation Box).

l

Step 11: Trim the spot for the cupcake using the Cupcake Insert Die.

n

Step 12: Using the Scallop Cupcake Wrapper, trim 2 wrappers ~ one from green cardstock and one from coordinating pattern paper. Attach them and assemble the cupcake wrapper by inserting the tab into the slot.

Step 13: Use the Bauble dies to create a decorative tag.

Here is what the inside of the box looks like. You could change the papers and dies used to make this work for Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday and all sorts of other occasions!
